Dita, Los Angeles 2001 - I’ve been seeing a lot of horrible, low-res, scanned-from-her-book versions of this photo online. It pains me to see them so here’s a version straight from the original negative. Let’s please reblog from the original sources! Latex by So Hip It Hurts. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Happy Birthday, Dita!
Asia DeVinyl, Los Angeles 2006 - Shot in my friend O’Shay’s bedroom. Shot on 120mm Kodak T-Max with a Mamiya 645. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Bernie Dexter, San Diego 2003 - I’ve known Bernie longer than she probably wants to admit. We shot this when she used to live in San Diego. I wanted this to look like one of those old brassiere ads from the 1950s. Photographed with the Mamiya 645. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Masuimi Max, Los Angeles 2002 - This has got to be one of my most known images. It was the cover of my DVD “Living Through Steve Diet Goedde” (Slish Pix, 2004 - available HERE). It was shot with all natural light in a friend’s loft in downtown Los Angeles. Many people assume her waist is digitally manipulated but it is not. I do not alter any of my photographs. She was able to corset down to a 17-inch waist but the effect is even more extreme because she’s somewhat leaning forward making the corset area of her body further back which only adds to the illusion the smallness of the waist. For more information and to purchase the DVD, please visit my site.
Eden, Berlin 2007 (back) - It was raining when we shot so we took cover under an office building that had these huge slabs of green glass where I played around with her and her reflection. Photographed with a Nikon D200. Accompanying front version HERE. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Ivy Red, San Francisco 2005 - This was a just-for-fun shot that Ivy and I did one afternoon at her place outside of San Francisco. It’s one of the rare occasions where I used the on-camera flash on my Yashica T4. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Violette, Los Angeles 2003 - Violette and I had a wonderful photoshoot in her apartment near MacArthur Park near downtown Los Angeles. This color image was shot with my old Canon A1 with Fuji slide film. www.stevedietgoedde.com

Shelby, Borrego Springs CA 2011 - It was extremely windy and cold when Shelby and I shot this in the Anza-Borrego Desert in southern California in March. This was one of the first shots I did with the Mamiya 645. She braved the cold for quite a while. A previously issued photo from this shoot featured Shelby all warm and protected from the elements toward the end of our shoot. Styling by Amber Patrito. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Belle, Portland 1998 - Another image from my shoot with Belle with styling by Marne Lucas. I was in Portland doing a book signing for my first book The Beauty of Fetish (Edition Stemmle). Marne has always been great at hooking me up with her model friends, and Belle took the cake! I got so much great footage from this shoot. Three years later, this image would appear in my follow-up book for Edition Stemmle, The Beauty of Fetish: Volume II.
