This is a tumblelog, kinda like a blog but with short-form, mixed-media posts with stuff I like. Scroll down a bit to start reading, or a bit more to read more about me.
Shantelle, Los Angeles 2004 - Photographed during a behind-the-scenes segment for my 2005 DVD Living Through Steve Diet Goedde. Photographed with the Mamiya 645.
I photographed the cover of the new Stockroom 2012 print catalog featuring Ancilla Tilia wearing the Latex Bolero Straitjacket™. The catalog is only $3.00 and can be purchased online HERE or pick up a copy at the Stockroom retail boutique in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles.
Justine Joli, Los Angeles 2006 - Justine fabulously wears a Syren latex ensemble. Justine and I had known each other for years but never actually shot anything until about six years after initially meeting. Sometimes shoots just take a while to happen. We shot this at my buddy Dave Naz’s house in Laurel Canyon. Justine was standing against an outdoor glass sliding door, and I had to get very narrow and thin so you couldn’t see my reflection behind her in the window. After this personal shoot, I started shooting her regularly for Stockroom/Syren. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Alejandra Guerrero, El Mirage CA 2008 - Photographed in the Mojave Desert on Tmax 400 film with a Holga camera. Alejandra’s Tumblr feed: http://corporatevampire.tumblr.com | www.stevedietgoedde.com
Mosh, Pasadena 2011 - Mosh and I finally worked together in March of 2011 after a year of procrastinating. We did this shoot guerrilla-style driving through Pasadena finding little areas that were suitable visual environments for her style and my aesthetics. Shot with the Mamiya 645 with Tmax 400 film. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Laura Doré, Los Angeles 2011 - From an editorial shoot I did with pin-up model Laura Doré exclusively for AltExclusive.com.
Jillian Ann, Los Angeles 2001 - From my first shoot with Jillian Ann in 2001. It was shot on the side of my house when I lived in Hollywood. It was one of those lighting moments that only lasted a few minutes. It was up to me to recognize it at the time and take full advantage of it. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Paris Kennedy, Los Angeles 2005 - Photographed with the Mamiya 645 with Tmax 400 film. As usual, all natural light. www.stevedietgoedde.com
