Kumi, San Francisco 1996 - This was the second shoot I did with Kumi - the first one was the Chinatown shoot with Midori. The shoot was organized by Molly who owned and designed for So Hip It Hurts latex. This is a scaled down version of a new one-gigabyte scan from the the original negative. Gina Velour, Los Angeles 1998 - This was shot at the Monastery of the Angels (an actual old monastery now converted into apartments) up in the Hollywood hills. It was a cold January day, and Marne Lucas (AKA Gina Velour) had wanted to shoot in the pool because she has this ‘thing’ for water. Unfortunately the day proved to be a bit too cold, so she reluctantly posed next to the pool instead of in it.
