Scary Lady Sarah, Chicago 1993 - I usually don’t do conceptual shoots but I periodically did this series where both the model and I were blindfolded. We would respond to each other mostly by voice, and I would point the camera in the model’s general direction. Using a manual focus camera, I also had to estimate how far or close she was to the camera. This was just one of the photos that ‘worked’. It was later published in my first book “The Beauty of Fetish” (Edition Stemmle, 1998). Photographed with the Canon A1.
Tuula, San Francisco 1999 - Tuula photographed in her backyard with the Mamiya 645. This image first appeared in my second book The Beauty of Fetish: Volume II (2001, Edition Stemmle). www.stevedietgoedde.com
Ivy Red, San Francisco 2005 - This was a just-for-fun shot that Ivy and I did one afternoon at her place outside of San Francisco. It’s one of the rare occasions where I used the on-camera flash on my Yashica T4. www.stevedietgoedde.com

Justine Joli, Los Angeles 2006 - An outtake from our first shoot together back in 2006. This shoot is more known for this classic shot. Justine wears Syren Latex and was photographed with the Mamiya 645. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Alsana Sin, Joshua Tree CA 2003 - Another shot from our stay at the Joshua Tree Inn back in 2003. We were in Room #8 - the room that Gram Parsons overdosed back in 1973. I remember it was very difficult getting something nice out of that motel room because the walls were merely painted cinder block with ‘grandma’s attic’ style decorations. Shot with my Canon A1 with daylight 35mm slide film with available tungsten lighting. Stockings by Agent Provocateur. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Dara, San Francisco 2000 - Dara had these fantastic PVC thigh-highs which fit her so perfectly. Sometimes I find it extremely erotic to isolate the focus of the fetish and remove the human element from the photo, such as in case. Don’t get me wrong, normally I love to highlight the personal elements of my models but sometimes the fetish appeal takes over especially when it makes for a compositionally compelling photograph. www.stevedietgoedde.com
Masuimi Max, Los Angeles 2002 - This has got to be one of my most known images. It was the cover of my DVD “Living Through Steve Diet Goedde” (Slish Pix, 2004 - available HERE). It was shot with all natural light in a friend’s loft in downtown Los Angeles. Many people assume her waist is digitally manipulated but it is not. I do not alter any of my photographs. She was able to corset down to a 17-inch waist but the effect is even more extreme because she’s somewhat leaning forward making the corset area of her body further back which only adds to the illusion the smallness of the waist. Porcelain Twinz, Los Angeles 2003 - Photographed at the Argyle Hotel (now called the Sunset Tower Hotel) on the Sunset Strip. This shoot was in conjunction with the release of my DVD anthology “Living Through Steve Diet Goedde”. A behind-the-scenes video and interview were shot for the DVD. Photographed with the Mamiya 645 with Tmax 400 film.
